I have been kinda disconnected from everyone really except for a select few . Its due to the  fact i am working alot of different things in this music biz. Albums, deals and artist development . so my time has been limited to that lately

got asked alot of whats going on with my twitter . i deactivated it for the time being to focus on my work. u can now deactivate your twitter for a few weeks and come back. so as long as they have it like that i will go and come back a few times until it ultimately plays its self out.

Yea he is on the right path, because there are musical decisions made based on no one in the crew willing to formulate their opinion due to that person’s role within said camp, to be solidified.

From being in different rap circles during my career yes i have come across many “Yes Man” but at the same time you really have to dig a little deeper into said situations.

I work with Jeezy( for those who didnt know), the man is an absolute fucking workaholic. When he dropped I DO this and was talking bout that as a single, i was the lone person who seriously objected to that record for tm102. He put it out Atlanta Radio were all yes this is it and niggas telling me i was wrong…Lets just say the record aint pick up and fizzled after a few weeks…Young went back in the lab crafted i luv it . The Rest is History! 

As open as the music industry as become with video blogs reality shows etc etc etc… There is alot of shit that goes into the thinking of the songs artists put out. When u have a hard drive full of records to put out. Sometimes the consensus is for a record everyone agrees to. 

But then  in these days and times , majority of artists act as their own a&r’s they make the choices for what to throw out regardless of the opinion of anyone else. 

In the end, the politics surrounding the Yes Man is why there is a yes man. Artists are extremely sensitive creatures who need to understand the reality of what they think is hot might not be popping outside them studio walls. The YES man really is around to keep artist ego moral high. I am a realist with any artist i work with i tell them how i feel about records. If the shit aint poppin my nigga im tellin you i dont like it…
